Suggestions for Kunimitsu scar make up?

I'm going to do a Kunimitsu cosplay and am trying to figure out best way to do the scars. Since they actually look more like scrapes, the tutorials I find are more for deep scars or the like. I don't know if just a darker make up would be enough, or if there is something else someone can suggest.

Also, does anyone know a good sealer or whatever it's called to stop make up sweating off? Lol

I think you can steadily "paint" the scar on with a dark foundation. Then "seal" it with a similar colored powder or eyeshadow.

But if you want it to look like the top picture, you can use a color-stay lipstick in the right color and dab either a brown, red, or tan eyeshadow until you get the desired look. It'll look more like Zuko's scar form The last avatar though.

by painting with layers of body paint you can get the "fresh" or in this case not so fresh scrapped look. a lot of companies have color wheels (mehron, kryolan, ben nye, etc.) one of which should have burns and such. really helpful for this. he trick is to blend the edges and not go too dark so it will look natural.
as for sealing spray, both ben nye and kryolan are really good!

the colour stay lippy is a great idea. i use a maybelene 24hr colour stay lippy and thd texture of the way it dries would reallt be suited to this plus they have some really bold reds so you should be able to find the perfect tone plus the application stick allows for previsionso u will be able to get the shape right. and then just use brown eye shadow as you are going for tone and texture. i recommend doing it by section as if you dab on the eye shadow before the lippy sries it will fuse together better. the lippy should remove fairly easily with a goid make up remover. good luck with it!
