Ah ha ha ha, thanks Pat. The goggles and the grin, I look like a lunatic. I love it.

I gotta get some ETTL flashes up there. That rig works fine for smaller convention centers with consistent ceilings and walls, but big places like OCCC or Dragon*Con where EVERY room is different ... it just doesn't work as well as I'd like. Or, go ahead and build a wide stripbox to cover both flash heads, and abandon attempts at using one bounced flash and one direct flash. I don't know.

Maybe cosplay as Steampunk Doc Ock and get some arms that can be molded into the right position for your flashes.

Nice use of gels! I need to do more of that.

Finally got the rest of my MegaCon set wrapped up, I'll try to ration them out.

Doomsday from the big DC group shoot. Killed the ambient as best I could with aperture/shutter, and lit him with an umbrella to camera left and bare flash to camera right.

Like the angle of the lights and how it gives dimension to the texture.

Thanks! I took one with flatter front lighting, but it wasn't nearly as interesting as this one.

Nice one! My 3/4-length of him wasn't very flattering, yours makes the muscles look good.

My wife as Marceline couldn't float quite as well as the one Jono posted a few weeks ago. But I'm pretty darn pleased with the Axe Bass that I built, it's my first prop completely form scratch (MDF, foam, wood, and paper mache). And she has some other special abilities besides floating
