Gadget from chip and Dale Rescue Rangers

Hi im trying to do a Gadget Hackwrench cosplay and I'm very new to Cosplay. I'm a little stuck on how to make the ears. I want them to be as close as possible. And also the tail. I've seen some Gadget cosplays where the tail looked extremely realistic. Any ideas or pointers are appreciated. Thank you.

Hehe, so cute!
The tail I would probably make with a wire skeleton running through it (to be pose-able), and then a spandex skin with those little polybeads that you find in neck pillows (lightweight, and not much worry about it lumping), sew in the segmenting and then coat it with latex and paint it.

Not as sure about ears, sorry.

I've seen a lot of tails that consisted of wire or string threaded through a series of disks and covering it in fabric (most of them were catgirl tails which were covered in fake fur, but you could probably do a mouse tail with felt or something).

For the ears, I'd search the wig/hair forum (there's a few topics on putting ears in wigs or wearing ear headbands with them - you could probably get away with attaching them to a headband decorated to look like her goggles, in fact).
