Really? I tend to cosplay fairly popular characters, and the things I like are my own business. ._. That's just being really defensive and possessive.
Kind of odd that someone you don't even know is watching you closely enough to make that complaint.

That is kinda creepy. ._.

When you throw out something and then realize it could have been used for cosplay later.

I had a pair of old sandals with the perfect wedge heels for Viola and since they were so old I wouldn't mind destroying them(and comfortable). But of course I threw them out. -_-

Realizing all the stuff I planned to fix up... had to be washed first. By hand. And hung to dry. Oi. That set me back a few hours. (More like an entire day. But I had something to work on for today at least.)

Not too creepy to me, personally- it takes a lot to creep me out when I have an account strictly for cosplay.

Peeve- as soon as I put my mind wholly to a cosplay to do, everything else decides to distract me from it. :| No. It WILL be Undertaker that I do. Calm the hell down and wait your turns, Fushimi and Grell.

Like a minor thing that bothers me personally is when people/companies make schoolgirl type skirts really long.
It's such a small thing I guess, but it just irks me to see because I feel like that can really mess up the way a costume looks overall. When you make a skirt longer without adjusting the hip-waist fit, it makes your legs look incredibly short. It just really needs to be tapered differently idk

When I used to buy costumes I had a skirt sent to me that was like that, and I got so mad haha

Sudden minor peeve: Not knowing any attractive poses when you are asked for your picture. I should probably think of like a signature pose for my cosplays or something, FAE is in a month.

Wow, that sucks. I hope you got the situation taken cared of. I don't think it was defensive or possessive of me to think of her this way when I do tend to cosplay non-mainstream or the weird character no one else will for a group. My group has been more defensive about it then me because they like me cosplaying the character instead of me going why don't you let her be such and such so I can cosplay someone else? O.o then dramu and I'm like er...doesn't help the person in question complains TO ME about it.

When friends aren't letting you drop cosplays because they need you for the group.

No. They don't need me. Sure, I'm cosplaying the main character, but they do not need me. >_> All it's doing is stressing me out, and all they are doing is refusing to understand that I am in no position to be working on more than I already am. What's worse is whenever I bring up the idea of dropping stuff, they make a big scene out of it or flat out ignore what I'm saying.

It's not like I have 2 months to work on that cosplay like I thought I did either. I have 2 weeks to make that completely, finish what I'm working on, and fix the other things I'm bringing since my parents need my cosplay stuff out of the house in order to sell it. >___>

Current: Con uncertainty.

My mother has said before that if my volleyball tryouts weren't on the same weekend as Otakon, I can go Saturday, no problems and no questions asked. After being asked to be part of a group Friday, I asked and she said sure thing. For some reason unknown to me, she is questioning letting me go at all. It's just getting me all nervous more than anything. I'm sure things will turn out eventually, but it still scares me.

If you want to lose weight and get an hourglass figure, people support that. If you want to gain weight/muscle and have a straighter build, people tell you they wish they had your body. That's nice, bro, but it's the same old straight/curly hair debate: You want what you don't have.

Peeve:

Having a hard time finding things that fit you height wise and shoe sizes. (; ^ ; ) I love my height, i just hate the fact that i have to either get items larger than me to fit or just find something else completely. If it's shoes for cosplay i kind of have a hard time finding items cause they are a size to small or cannot be made. I guess it's kind of why even though i've bought 2 cosplays so far i prefer to make mine cause my height, measurements and etc vary from so many people.

Wanting to work on cosplay, but not being sure what to work on.

I could work on Lucille, but I don't need him until February. Faust I need a sewing machine for and I REALLY don't feel like fighting Pegasus' jacket snaps.

Unless its made specifically for the cosplay market, schoolgirl skirts aren't SUPPOSED to be little tiny miniskirts. My high school had uniforms; the skirt length was no more than three inches above the knee (though a lot of girls broke that rule by rolling or getting someone to hem their skirt, then the school cracked down on it by ruining the kilts by building in shorts and banning ALL hem adjustment). And that's REALLY short compared to what most countries that routinely have uniforms- or, almost all the rest of the world- allow. Japan, it's AT the knee, not the tiny skirts on mega-long legs they show in anime, South and Central America, it's at or below the knee, ANKLE length in Indonesia....

Of course, and those are supposed to be that long and made accordingly.
I'm talking about commissioned cosplay skirts lol
When I used to buy costumes, they would send skirts that were meant to be miniskirts and cut how a miniskirt would be (like the width of it would increase fairly early) and then it's just extra long and therefore extra wide but at an awkward length/width

Ah, that makes more sense. Yes, a flared tiny miniskirt is a fair bit different from a longer school uniform skirt. Did they not offer the measurement for deciding how long the hem would be? Seems like a dumb thing to leave out of a skirt comission. The same length regardless of height/leg length might come to one person's knees and hardly cover the crotch of another.
