Link Wig Critique

Hello!!
I just finished cutting and styling my first ever wig for Link from twilight princess
http://www.cosplay.com/costume/452520/

Its SUPPOSED to look like this:

First off, i know the colour is a little off, other than that, it turned out better then i expected!
Let me know your thoughts

i actually think the colour is quite good. as if link were in real life rather than animated it would probably be pretty close to the natural colour that the yelliw tones are emulating. its a pretty decent effort. certainly is a good addition to a convincing cosplay

I think you did a great first time job! I also like that it looks very natural.

For your first time especially, it looks great!

The way you did the bangs/sides is actually how I (personally) prefer Link wigs lol Good job!

The wig looks good! :]

The only suggestion that I can think of is perhaps bring some of the bangs over to the other side of your face and cut them shorter.

Kinda like this: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

(I know the color of my wig is WAY off though I was kinda going for a more in game look).

Pikmin Link also does what I'm describing;

You kinda want to get a lopsided M with his hair if you want to keep true to in game/artwork design, however the more natural look that you did is great as well!

LOVE that wig! The only thing I can think to suggest would be to second Akune. I think the other side could use a bit more of the hair. Great job though.

I would move the part an inch or two over. Think of aligning it roughly with your pupil. You might want to take pictures from a few more angles, too. The bangs look really bulky right now (moving the part will solve some/maybe all of that - and it might just be the angle).

If you want more volume and the whole "anime hair" thing that's going on, you accomplish it basically by spraying/setting it while it's backward and letting it drape forward. It's like if you took a shower and slicked your hair back to dry - it would do that when it falls forward.

If you want to do the "anime hair", I wouldn't cut anything since it will take away some of the length.

Well, that was the critique - I think it looks pretty good as-is and would certainly be recognised, it just depends on how much you want to fuss.
