Characters wearing one earring?

So long story short, I love making earrings, especially ones based off from an anime or video game. I only wear earrings on my left ear (Used to wear on right ear but had to stop wearing earrings on right ear due to an ear infection).

Do you know any characters that wear only one earring? I know the followings:

Kise Ryouta- Kuroko no Bakset
Yuna- Final Fantasy X/X-2
Cloud Strife- Final Fantasy VIII Advent Children
Kurapika- Hunter x Hunter
Sheryl Nome- Macross Frontier (She wears two but wears one later in the anime)

I may not cosplay as any of these characters, but I love making earrings based off a character.

Does your ear infection prevent you from wearing screw-back or clip-on earrings? They may be clunky but at least you would be able to wear them on both ears. Sorry to hear about your ear by the way, I imagine that sucks since you seem to like earrings so much! :c

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I am able to wear clip-on earrings since my ear infection only affected the inside of my ear.

I'm not sure your exact situation, but you might have hope of re-piercing if you wanted to.

I had an infection in an ear piercing from Claire's when I was a kid - because piercing guns and their aftercare advice are crap. I was able to get both ears re-piercing at an actual piercing studio last year.

You could also consider something like those over-the-ear wire hangers - especially if you painted the "wire" with liquid latex it would be pretty hard to spot unless you knew what you were looking for.

Link has both ears pierced in Twilight Princess and any time his ears are pierced that I can think of. Just sayin'. ;P

So weird!!! I had the same thing happen to my right ear as well, twice!! Gave up on repiercing after the second severe infection. What a coincidence!

For future reference... if a piercing hole gets infected, take out the earrings that you had on at the time you noticed the infection, and clean them with rubbing alcohol or peroxide. Soak some plain steel or gold studs in peroxide and dip the shafts in antibiotic ointment (you can get this at any drugstore). Put those earrings in. See the instructions on the ointment to find out how often to reapply the stuff. If that doesn't clear it up after a couple of days, see a doctor. But that's what I've always done.

As a dirty kid I got ear piercing infections all the time, and as an adult I still do occasionally. :P It usually only takes one or two doses of ointment (like Polysporin) to make it go away. But get to it as soon as it starts to feel sore persistently. Don't wait for it to get pus and stuff.
