Short hair is easier to manage, when mine was short some mornings I didn't even bother to brush it. However I used to be a dancer and from observation men like long hair better.

Of course personal preference. I prefer short.

I once had long hair and it was such a pain to deal with.

Short is in my opinion prettier.. Long has it's advantages though.. Like when it comes to hairstyles.
I prefer short wavy hair all the way, though ~ And blunty bangs.. So cute. >u< And plus, short hair suits me.. I am sure I could pull off long hair though.. ^^'

Personal Taste if different, tbh.
It's completely up to your facial structure if you can work long hair or short hair better as well.
Mine is a round-face, so I typically go for the messy medium-length/short-length hairstyle.
Easy to handle and suits our faces quite well.
Plus, my boyfriend likes my hair shorter rather than long, however... he could give two shits either way. He thinks women look beautiful the way they are, regardless of hairlength.
So, there you go. A guy's perspective ^ XD.
But yes, facial structure is the key to what can work for you.

I used to have long hair, down to my waist. There wasn't much I could do: Part it one one side or the other, braid it, put it up. Now that I have short hair, I can leave it flat, comb it over, spike it up, fauxhawk, curl, sweep to the side, even gel it back if I felt so inclined. Some people think it's the opposite, that short hair is limited in options.

I prefer short hair, but people can do whatever they want.

I love having short hair. I used to have long hair, and it was such a hassle for me (I have really thick hair, and even though it's straight it was still a pain)...the split ends, the long drying time, the tangles...I literally put it into a ponytail and told the stylist to cut it off and make it into a choppy bob. That was 4 years ago and I haven't ever grown my hair back.

In terms of style, you can click on my name and it SHOULD bring up my profile picture of just my face and hair. It's asymmetrical and super short in the back, tapering to the front. I don't think I'll really change my hair style, tbh.

But, it's a personal preference, as many people have already said. My boyfriend really likes it this short. For practical purposes, I feel like short is the best bet (wearing any helmets, whether it's for cosplay or for safety; for cooking, for painting, etc). Obviously long hair has its perks, too.

Short or long hair looks nice on everyone. I like having my hair long though: either crimped, wavy, straight whichever so I can easily put it in a bun or put some bangs for versatilty.

I have to say, after 2.5 years of hair to my waist, I cut it this spring to donate to children with cancer and got a pixie cut and I am LOVING IT. I haven't had short hair in about 13 years, and it's so nice. I can shower in 5 minutes. I can drive with the windows down. I don't have to vacuum every hour. I don't have to brush my hair obsessively. I don't have to buy conditioner. I don't get strangled in my sleep. I don't get ponytail headaches. Or sweaty neck. And I can easily wear wigs again! It was way too much effort before.
