Homestuck Horn Trouble

Well, I thought it was a good idea at the time. I made some Karkat horns in Art class from ceramic clay, they're the appropriate size for him, I just can't figure out how to attach them to a headband.
What headband should I use? I painted them with tempera paint and the bottoms were painted too, is thay a bad thing?
I also need to know a poor man's way to attach them to a headband, could I use a Hot Glue gun, or would I have to use some sort of epoxy or gorilla glue?
The convention is still two montths away, so I do have some time.
Please help.

I can't get images right now, the webcam on my computer's busted and my sister refuses to lend me a hand. I just need to know if Super glue or Gorilla glue wouls be better and if it would ever work on tempera painted ceramic.
Also, which headband to use.

of all the horns ive seen the best way to do it with clay specifically
is to push screw anchors into the base before they dry/bake
then when they are done screw them into a headband
this also allows then to be taken from the head band for safe packing

as yours are done id say make a pilot hole for the anchor with a drill/rottery tool
then tap it in gently with a rubber mallet
you may not have all these tools but i think you get the idea and and work around that
hope ya like the idea
good times to all

They mean reference pictures of the character, like you could find on Google or wherever. That way people who aren't Homestucks can know what you're up against.

My friend screwed her Eridan horns into her wig, which worked well. There was a piece of plastic underneath which kept them in place. We made them out of clay, so...

Lots of people use hair grips or something for them.

Oh, thank you for helping to clear that up.
But I think I should clear up that it isn't air dry clay, it's kiln baked ceramic clay, it's difficult to break but harder to attach to non porous surfaces.
Also, my sister needs help on a Zacharie mask, from OFF. She wants it confortable and professionap looking. But at the same time it has to be relatively easy to make.
Anothee thing, I made Terezi and Sollux horns or the same material... not very bright am I...
