Alliance Lv 60 Warlock

So this is what I am trying to make right now

And this what I have as of right now

Any thoughts, suggestions on either how I'm doing or what I could do to make it a smidge better? I'm also doing shoulder armor out of cloth, which doesn't look bad...but not so great either.
I'm thinking of cutting the shoulder armor out of cardboard, spray painting it and calling it day to save me a headache. I have access to an endless amount of cardboard and spray paint. Then going back later and redoing the shoulders out of like wonderflex or something to make them look more pretty XD

Hard to say it does look like the mid rif part is more notably layered. The dress also doesn't follow the same kind of curvature as the source material and yours currently looks more like a dress. The bottom part of the 'gown' in the source also becomes a little wider at the bottom.

I'm not sewer (i'm trying though), but I would do the white midriff as a shirt underneath, with a dress ath the bottom and the top part at the top and then have a velcro connection for the back between the two (for ease of getting in and out).

I hope that helps.
Project List:
Hunk from Resident Evil (work in progress)
Sebastian Michaelis from Black Butler (work in progress)
