Review: Avon Ideal Flawless BB Cream
Name of Product: Avon Ideal Flawless BB Cream
Where Purchased: avon.com (this product won't be available to buy until May 12)
Product Description: Avon has hopped on the BB cream bandwagon and created a BB cream of their own. And it is AMAZING. I purchased a demo to try out of curiosity and now I'm hooked. I am a major bareMinerals fan but this BB cream may have me hanging up my powder brush. I have combination skin, where my T-zone can get quite oily. Thus, I've always tried to stay in on the matte side of makeup. Unfortunately this means I've never gotten that coveted "glow" that some makeup brings to the face. Avon's cream does it! It made me dewy without being oily. Not to mention the coverage is TO DIE FOR. A little goes a LONG WAY, a pea size dollop was enough for my whole face and under the jaw, and it takes two seconds to apply. When I tried it under bareminerals foundation WOW. It was like my skin was suddenly porcelain.
Pros: For the price I think it is worth it. Avon will launch the product their next campaign, so it will be available for $7.99 as of May 12. Coverage is phenomenal. Period. It is also very light and this is coming from someone who NEVER wears liquid foundation because it is too heavy. It has spf, it's infused with minerals and antioxidants, and it's hydrating without being oily. It has no smell, which for me is a plus. Also, it makes you look instantly awake, and who doesn't want that?
Cons: Not a lot of shades to choose from, though I hear this is an issue with many BB creams. I am the light medium for reference.
Overall Rating: 10. If I could give an 11 I would.
