Toph Contacts

I'm planning on cosplaying Toph Bei Fong from Avatar http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...28%3B800%3B597, however she is blind, I am not....I've heard that you can get lenses that completely cover your eye to make you look properly blind but they sounds really scary and a bit unsafe, so does anyone have any recommendations of circle lenses that would still work?

There are "Blind" lenses like these but as they cover the pupil too, you cannot see with them and would need a guide.

I think the easier option would be to get "white out" or "zombie" lenses that leave the pupil uncovered so that you can still see, but will simulate the look of cataracts/clouding associated with blindness.

I used Mesh lenses for Aradia who has white eyes. They work really great! In photos you can barely tell that there are little holes in them.

As for being able to see with them, it's fairly easy to see, I didn't, like, need a cane to walk with or anything! The only problem I had with them, was wearing them in supppper light rooms, which made the rooms even brighter. But they're pretty comfortable, and you can see really well in them!
