Bangs on wig is waaay to thick/chunky. What do I do?

Hello : )
I received my wig for a Morgiana (magi) cosplay. I've cut it to the right shape, and I love it, but there is one problem. The bangs on the wig is so extremely thick. It looks something like this, but what I want is something like this. I've tried thinning it out with thinning scissors, but that didn't help much, and it didn't look natural at all. So what can I do? Should I remove some of the wefts or do you have any other tips?

The have been fathered/razored. If you can find a tool like this this is what I use.

If not you can do it by cutting the bangs vertically instead of horizontally with a pair of hair shears.

Thanks for the input! I have shears and hair razors, but the bangs on the wig is just too tick, so I didn't get the result I wanted with any of those techniques. But I really love the wig, so I don't want to buy a new one either..

If you still want to try something else on that wig, you should consider thinning shears. They do just what the name implies: thin out hair. They look like this and are sold in most beauty stores that have hair stuff or they are easy enough to buy online.

As an example of what you can do with them:
My Howl wig was too thick and it looked absurdly puffy under the hat so I had to thin the wig and bangs out.
What it started out as
Finished product

I removed about 1/2 the thickness of the bangs and about 1/3 of the volume of the rest of the wig. For your wig and character, I think removing 1/3 to 1/2 the thickness of those bangs would make them more manageable and realistic looking in terms of hair volume.

Also, here is a Youtube video on how to cut with them.

Most wigs that have a button/radial part i just end up removing five-seven wefts from the front by using a seam ripper and choosing to take out every other row. Plus it's less permanent than cutting out bulks of hair because you can't put that back in.

I'll try thinning it out a little bit more, but I think I have to remove some of the wefts : / but thanks for helping me!
