Need a cheap costume fast!

Fanime is next weekend and the girl making my costume just informed me that I won't be getting my costume on time. Fantastic! Last commission I ever buy. Now I need a new costume and its gotta be fast and cheap! I don't have a sewing machine or access to a discount fabric store so it would have to be a Goodwill costume. any suggestions for what I could wear with not-too-difficult to find components? I'm a girl and I'm willing to dye my hair to match a costume.
I can't wear an old costume, I moved and left them all behind T.T

Well, what are you into? I'd think a Doctor Who or Companion would be easy to put together.

I second the Doctor Who suggestion! You could also do a Genderbent!Doctor, which could easily be created from thrift clothes.

Otherwise, does your hair color matter to you/do you have any wigs? That'd make it a lot easier to suggest things!

Here are some random assortment of simple cosplays you could probably find in a thrift store.

Misty from Pokemon
Videl from Dragon Ball Z
Anna from Shaman King

I'll post more as I find them or you give more details on what you'd prefer.

You could always pick a Studio Gibli movie and cosplay as a character from those - they're simplistic and easy.

If you like Homestuck then you can consider cosplaying one of the characters from there, since they're also pretty simple.

Marvel superhero? Or go to your latest iparty and browse around, you may get some inspiration!

If you like My Little Pony, a gijinka of any of the mane six can usually be put together quick, though it might be a rush to get a wig unless you have one that already matches (though if you have longish hair and can dye it pink, Pinkie Pie or Fluttershy can be pulled off, and likewise dyeing dark purple and styling in ringlets would do for Rarity. If you're a natural blonde with long enough hair for a ponytail, Applejack). Some purple schoolgirlish pieces? Twilight Sparkle. Something pink and fun-looking? Pinkie Pie. Country girl outfit and a cowboy hat? Applejack. Breezy sundress or some yellow/pink clothes? Fluttershy. Something white/purple and either classy or glamorous looking? Rarity. Something blue and usually athletic or sporty with some rainbow accesories? Rainbow Dash. And ears, horns and wings are quickly and easily made from things like felt or craft foam.

Depending on your hair color, you could go as Zoey from Left 4 Dead.

I see in your profile that you like Harvest Moon -- you can probably easily thrift an outfit for one of the MCs (especially the older ones that mostly just wear overalls and a shirt), or one of the townspeople (you could probably even choose depending on hair!), and since there are so many games with so many different designs, you can easily find something that works.

I always see at least a few HM cosplayers around Fanime, and I know that there is always a HM/RF gathering (I think it is Monday this year?), so I'm sure that someone will recognize you. I wouldn't know much of anything past BTN-era, but I know that I;d stop and take a picture of you if I saw you in a HM cosplay that I knew.
