need help with the eyes on my fursuit!!

So I'm making my first ever fursuit cosplay(having my friend help since she has experience) but it's a cycolps.~ the eye in the middle is pretty big and I have 2 ideas of where to make it see through but I don't know how to make it work. I was thinking on the right and left edge of the eye, or try to make the eye smaller and fit the eye vision on the outside of the eye somehow.

Is there anyone that would know how to make it work? The head isn't going to have long fur but shaved and I kinda don't want the eye to be flat since it's so big and it would look bad if it was flat but then I have no idea on how I would be able to see.

BTW this suit is more smaller because the head won't have a lot of foam(only on cheeks and mouth) so I can't really fit my eyes in the mouth.

I'm cosplaying deerclops from Don't Starve.

I don't know how you're going about making the eye. I'd probably make one huge clear lens, and paint the white of the eye/iris/pupil on the back. But I wouldn't make the pupil opaque, more like translucent so you could still see through it.

You could use buckram for the eye. You can see through it even when painted
