Critique on my small Anime North gallery?

Hey! This is my first time doing cosplay photography. In fact, this is the first time I really tried to frame some artistic shots. Let me know what you guys think about any of the photos! It's not a lot to go through, so it shouldn't take you guys long to look through them all

I'm no photographer, but I really like these! I like how you captured the cosplayer but also the con atmosphere. (:

I'm with Ichigo-- I feel the same way! My personal favourite shots are of Haruhi, Link, and Zero/Lelouch.

In the future, I'd play with angles some more. The photos you have already are wonderful, but you might be able to get even more interesting photos if you change where you're shooting from. A lot of these are straight-on shots at eye level, and there's nothing wrong with that, but photos from different angles (like the one you have of Lelouch VS Zero at sword/gunpoint) are way more interesting!

Pretty good, but i'd work on your lighting a bit. I know, working in a con area that it's difficult to get good lighting, especially when the lights hang so high, but there are editing options for that. Poses look good, however there are quite a few pictures where your cosplayers are cut off. That's a personal choice of shooting style, but I personally don't like shooting that way. Good overall, though! Keep at it!
