Cosplay and Identity Survey

Hello cosplayers! Iím a Regional Master-level cosplayer who is doing her Masterís in Theatre and Performance Studies at York University. I got lucky enough to get a program that allows me to study cosplay as performance. In order to support my MRP (Major Research Paper), I need your help. I am creating a demographic and ethnographic study of Ontario cosplayers, performance, and identity, and where all of those intersect. Iím looking a lot at gender theory for this paper, so gender identity and gender performance figures heavily into it. Those who are not necessarily from Ontario are more than welcome to submit as well, but preference is for those who cosplay in Ontario. For legalityís sake, Iím looking for cosplayers that are 18 and older.

Effort has been made to make the survey as inclusive as possible. Every single question is optional. Please answer the survey to your comfort level, though I ask that you be as honest as you are able. Share this survey far and wide to all your cosplay friends! If you have any questions, please send me a message. Thank you!

How did I put this costume on again?!

Anime North 2011: Snowman (Homestuck)

Friday: 50sstuck Marquise Spinneret Mindfang (Homestuck)

You might want to explain certain section like Romantic identity. The term is rather vague if you haven't taken sociology.

Nehelenia ~ Sailor Moon (Sat)

I will fill it out, but I also just want to give you a heads up about how the mods usually frown on this sort of thing. Good luck in your research though.
Good, Cheap, or Fast
Pick any two...

If its Good and Cheap, it wont be Fast
If its Fast and Cheap, it wont be Good
If its Fast and Good it wont be Cheap

Would agree with Romantic identity perhaps needing some more explanation. Otherwise filled in to the best of my ability.
