Airily wigs?

Is this the right place to ask this? There's been some discussion of it in the Wigs forum, but no information from Cosplay.com.

So, where did the Airily wigs go? When are they coming back? Or are they gone forever?

I've been getting the "404 Not Found" too. I did a google search to see if the link was miss typed and got in:

http://shop.cosplay.com/wigs/airily/wolf-base.html

The only problem is at the bottom it says "There are no products matching the selection." So I'm back to square 1...

It was STILL never officially announced except on a now-locked thread on the forums asking about it but Admin has said that Japanese wigs are no longer being sold on cosplay.com.

So if you were looking to buy one, you're now SOL unless you find a proxy in Japan.

So from the looks of it, I can order from Airily directly if I order dircetly from them. ... Well, where is their site? It would have been SO great of them to add a link to their site or something. Dx Is there any place other than the airily site that we can get them though? I've tried eBay with no luck... >: I really want and need wigs from them but of course can't get them if I don't know where the site is!

Airily is here: http://airily.jp/
But as far as I know they aren't really set up to support overseas orders. The order form only has support for Japanese addresses and nearly all payment methods are Japan-only (they do accept a few credit cards). In addition, tech support/staff contact is only available in Japanese ^^;

There is a bit of machine-translated English guidace here but the bulk of the page is designed to cater to expatriates (ie. Japanese living abroad) and the assumption seems to be that those ordering from overseas will still speak Japanese as a primary language or will be able to get by on nothing but pictures. The site and order forms are Japanese-only. Navigating an order without Japanese ability is going to be tough.

International shipping for all orders is a flat 3,000 yen. That's over $35 ^^;;; It may still be cheaper to go through a middleman and have them SAL your purchase.

In any case: without Coscom and their discounts -- airily wigs are already in the $65-90 range after exchange. $35-40 shipping fees will pop each and every one over the $100 mark. It probably isn't the most practical choice for someone living abroad.

Sucks they won't be carrying them anymore

Zephyr has much better English support and will also ship overseas through rakuten:

Japanese: http://www.rakuten.ne.jp/gold/zephyr1/
English: http://www.rakuten.co.jp/zephyr1/921568/

If you're looking for wigs similar in quality and feel to the airilys but want to save $15 or $20 ~ http://www.rakuten.co.jp/vellsus/ is my favorite. They don't ship overseas, but they have frequent, very reasonable sales and a middleman should be able to give you a better base price on one than an airly (since they're cheaper to begin with).

Thank you! I've been trying to hunt down Zephyr's English page ever since rakuten started shipping overseas.

Argh, you have got to be kidding me. I came looking to buy a couple more Airily wigs only to find nothing in the store. Luckily I have this thread to tell me Cosplay.com stopped selling them.

I'm so furious right now. I loved the one wig I got to try out and now I want to change over my entire stock. Thanks for nothing cosplay.com. I still won't buy your horrible "premium wigs".

Their Wolf Base wig would of worked so nicely for a Yami Marik Cosplay :[

They seem as good as Arda's and a bit cheaper ; 3 ;
Wished I heard of them sooner....

I don't know if any of you still care or if this thread is still pertinant, but Airily have their own website. They even ship overseas.

The site is in Japanese though, but they have an "English Guide" tab in the top bar.
