There isn't a lot; a lot of cosplay has nothing to do with Japanese at all. Focus on the anime and manga parts of your research and you'll have 9 minutes of talking points easily.

You could actually look a little deeper than just cosplay in general, and look at some of the inspirations for some of the Japanese anime. There are a slew of anime that were inspired by historical events, especially WWII. I think that you'd do really well if you were to maybe talk about that. Because cosplay is just on the surface of the fandom, the origins of the fandom are the heart of it.

Good luck! Gambete ne!

That is A LOT of topics.
To be honest, you can pick one of those out of the three and be just fine.
And cosplay is for more than anime. It seems kind of misplaced.

/puts linguistics college degree hat on

Linguistically, even though the portmanteau "cosplay" was created by a Japanese reporter, cosplay itself it not uniquely Japanese. It's American. So any terminology coined by Japanese people who cosplay in Japan are going to likely be loanwords anyway. There is nothing uniquely Japanese about it, linguistically or culturally.

If your language studies include loanwords and how they follow the cultural appropriation of other cultures' habits and experiences, you might be able to find something by talking to someone who lives in Japan and can explain how cosplay is different there. But generally speaking, "cosplay" is not a Japanese thing.
