Exclamation Help making Chad/Sado's arm from bleach.

I have no sewing/fabric experience, and I need help.
Chad's arm is matte black with a red strip down the side of it, so I thought "Can I use Opera/Evening gloves to make my arm black? All I would have to do after that is sew a red stripe down the side of it."

I went ahead and ordered some cheap evening gloves, not knowing what to expect (other than a tight fit, since it is designed for a female arm).

The good news: It looks great, and would be perfect with a red strip.

The bad news: It's a couple inches too short...

I was thinking about cannibalizing the left arm glove, since I won't be using it, to extend the right arm glove. IS this a good idea? Or should I try to stretch the right glove, somehow?

The glove is short the the point where it will travel to the elbow if i move around too much, and since I am going to a convention in 3 days, I need help...

Thanks in advance for reading this
