Quadsuit help...?

Okay, so, I'm planning an Arcanine quadsuit for Con-G 2014, I have the whole summer to work on it, and will have help, so time to complete won't be a problem. I also have access to plenty of fabric, and know quite well what I am doing...
... other than a 'pattern' for this thing...
I'm able to alter foam for padding and make a duct tape dummy, but I'm confused as to how I'm supposed to cut the fur and sew it without a pattern. Can anyone help me with this, such as telling me in detailed step-by-step instructions as to how you made the outer body to the suit?
Any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you~!

What I do is, after you make the DTD, wrap it up in either plastic wrap, or trash bags, then do a whole other coat of duct tape. The plastic wrap will help separate the layers of duct tape, one being the dummy, the top being the pattern. I'll often use different colored duct tape too.

So you cut the pattern tape off the dummy, lay it out--making sure it's flat and using darts where necessary--on the fur and then cut it out, sew it up and voila! This way, you still have your in tact DTD to work off of.
