Question What can I use for castin resin that is not model builder?

I'am trying to make a heart broach for a sailor scout cosplay, but i dont have the money to buy model builder or any of those things. so i was wondering if you can use crayola air dry clay for casting resin or play dough or anything that s a but cheep? thank you for your time :3

no, the resin will bond with the mold creating a waste of materials and time.

Her heart broach doesn't have to be clear resin either you can make it out of clay and paint it with nail polish.
