I'm back from Midwest and I have to say I had a pretty fun time! It was nice to actually get to meet up with Nostalgic Critic (even though I couldn't get into his panel on friday), but I didn't like how they charge $10 to get guests autographs. Heck he lives soooo close by to me, I feel like I can walk up to his door and get a picture with him. =P I love how there wasn't a lot of people acting immature in public, but I didn't like how groups of people were sitting down, blocking up spaces (thats a fire hazard). There were times that I felt like I was roaming around mindless because the map on the panel guide wasn't very detail on where everything was at, but eventually we found the rooms thanks to the friendly staff that I ran into. Considering last year was royally boring and had a few panels/events, this was a huge step up. Plus it was nice not having to step over people to get to panels or elevators (looking at your ACEN).
Oh and I got my badge in less than 5 mins, when I arrive there around 4pm on friday.
