Gradiant colour options.

This is a wig I'm doing to CostumeCon next year so it up to me one colours so no references here.

I'm ordering this wig and I want to add a slight deep blue gradient to it but I'm not sure if I want to make the crown darker of the tips/end of the wig darker.

My question is what do you feel is a more appealing effect with hair?

Hmm what character are you doing it for, or are you just using it for a Masquarade type thing?

And if you don't mind me asking what method do you use to gradient dye it? ^_^

Personally I like the bottom darker but for me it would also depend on the outfit you're wearing it with =D

For ombre hair in general, I like it better when the roots are darker than the ends so I vote the first one.

It's for Souryuu from Yami no Matsuei but there no color version of his chinese tao robbed outfit. I sticking with solid a with brocade trim.

For method I know that the fibers can take FW ink and Sharpie. But if I get my new airbrush compressor I'll going to try the acylic method.

I'm basically want a watercolour effect to his wig.
