Well I may be able to help with that. From the looks of it, AX is using a high mounted projection screen system and Anime Matsuri is using a rear projection system.
FanimeCon uses an actual stage which is 112 x 35 (WxH) with a proscenium opening(the archway) (WxH): 49 9 x 30. The stage is 40 deep. Pictures here http://livedesignonline.com/site-fil...bl_sjcivic.jpg
To support a rear projection system you would have to eliminate about 14 at the back and set them up. One consideration is to use a thrust to move the performances closer to the audience and thus make use of the rear back stage are.
My question to everyone here is how much of a plus is that?
If provided how many would make use of the system?
Another option is to use the two high screens located to the left and right about 13 feet up or to project to a hung screen above the main stage. about 10 above or 15 feet up from the floor.
