Smile Trustworthy websites for buying cosplays?

I'm looking for a Lightning cosplay from FFXIII. I've been pulling Google searches all day looking for the full costume (not including boots and the wig) to come up with nothing but worry. There are PLENTY of websites selling it but I don't know if they are trustworthy (I don't feel like getting scammed) and I don't want to drop money on a costume that looks nothing like the picture.

Also I'm 17 so I pay through my parents. I give them the cash and they use their credit cards to simplify the process. Here's the thing: they aren't comfortable AT ALL with commissions or eBay at all. It doesn't matter about the reviews, they don't want to take the risk.

So what are the best, and most trustworthy websites you use to purchase your costumes from? Here are some sites I'm looking at but I'm nervous about:

Any experiences with those sites, let me know!

I've heard both good and bad about cosplaymagic.com for my Final Fantasy XIII cosplay. I decided to use my own money and take the risk. I literally just ordered my costume from the site after researching it a little bit. I contacted support with a few questions about the costume before ordering it and received a quick response to all my questions. With cosplaymagic.com I don't think its about whether or not you actually receive a costume, its just about whether or not that costume is high quality. Based on the prices, cosplaymagic should be putting out high quality costumes, but you can never be too sure. I'll be posting a review as soon as my costume comes in. Good luck with finding a costume!

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.

Etsy is more like an online crafts fair. Any reviews are going to be about individual sellers and not about the site as a whole. Kinda like eBay in that it (almost always) isn't eBay's fault if a seller scams you.
