Nothing local but Cosplay Supplies ship free and they bring both to Anime North every year to pick up in person at their both. There both sheet plastic really. lol

I could give you some scraps of the wonderflex to play with the next time your in my area. Also wonderflex and worbla can fuse to one another as well.

A lot of people use Sintra (PVC sheets) for armor as well. It take to basic curves and you can get sheet from most local sign shops have sheet of it in stock.

Also Craft foam armour is an option.

I use this method for a lot of "metal" piece in my costumes in the past.

Yeah I saw kamui showing how they stick to each other. I'm pondering what to use for the sword. Sintra may come in handy for that. I want it to be as lightweight as possible.

I don't think sintra would work well for my cosplay armor itself though as there are a lot of curves with the shoulder bits and chestpiece (although I plan on modifying it a bit to be more realistic) - and ideally i'd like to use the same material throughout the armor to give a uniform look.

I was Skarner last year on the Saturday, but wasn't able to make it to the shoot due to some costume problems and putting the whole thing on taking longer than I hoped.

I hope to make it to the shoot this/next year though! My girlfriend and I are planning on cosplaying Zed with his shadow.

While we're talking about materials and stuff, would EVA foam sheets or whatever (the thin ones) be good for all the small gold parts on Ashe's costume (cape, hood, gauntlets, legs things, etc.)?
also what should I make the shoulder armour out of?
And does anyone know where I could find boots like hers?
Lots of questions!

I guess for the bottom of the cape, I should probably just use gold fabric xD

The pauldrons i would do with eva (5mm), same with the gauntlets(5mm with craft foam(usually 2mm) for the gold details). It looks like the hood and leg bits are gold detailing and not armour. Like her stockings (but they seem thicker than a stocking) are held up by the gold rings.

Hey so I would like to say that last year as popular as it was, it was not coodinated and I had to take the lead and I don't want to leave it so awkward as it was for me last year, so this year my buddy Vince (the Garen from last year) and I (Neon Strike Vi from last year) are planning our own photoshoot so that its not as crazy and confusing xD

I'm going to push for a Saturday shoot and if we get enough feed back we will also try to host a friday or sunday shoot as well!

If anyone is interested then please talk to us at this link (most of us don't use our cosplay.com accounts)
