Here is the helmet. It is just paper right now. I have to coat it in fiberglass, bond, and then put some clay details around for the jaw piece. Then I will vacuum form the whole thing, so it will be like a clear glass helmet that I will tint with window tint, and then paint the jaw silver/metallic grey. So pretty much, this isn't really the helmet. This is a model of the helmet that plastic will be formed over.

What material are you using to vacuum form?

If you're using plexiglass, then I suggest using the already tinted one.
http://www.tapplastics.com/product/p...ent_colors/519

This way you'd save on needing to try and put tint film on it as it's just a whole lot of trouble not to mention from here all you would need to do is just paint it.

Here's an example of how mine more or less came out for my Eraqus helmet.
http://s852.photobucket.com/user/Sol...tml?sort=3&o=3

Not exactly the best example, but generally the idea.

That does look like it would work color wise, but my issue is that I don't know if they have it big enough for what I need to do (since the whole helmet will be one giant piece of plastic).

Yeah they do.

If you go to Tap plastic store they will cut it to any size you want.

Really? That's awesome! Do I have to physically go to the store, or do it online?

Either. Tapplatics.com or walk in. You can pic the material you want online then on the right there's a size thing that you chose the sizes and it gives you a price. You can then buy online. However you may have to pay shipping. Walk ins you cut out shipping, but use gas..so which ever is cheaper

Yeah. I will have to look on the website and see. Is there any way I could do a custom length though? Because I'm probably going to need it bigger than their biggest option.

This is true! I will probably do it 24 inches by 24 inches and in the thinnest thickness... if not it will be over 50 dollars.

Can anyone see your face through the front of the mask, or will I need to wear an all black zentai style mask under it so no one will see my face to make it look like the in-game one?
