MOTU Ram Man

Hey everyone,
I am new to Cosplay as I have only done it a couple of times. Not counting being a Mascot for my college at a leadership conference in Ca. Wore a gorilla suit for 14 hours on a 104 degree day. That was NUTS!
Anyways, I have done simple stuff previously. I was Peter Griffin one year and this year at Planet Comic Con in Kansas City I went as Steve from Minecraft.

For next Planet Comic Con I am planning to do Ram Man from Masters of the Universe.
I am short and fat like him. LOL. I am looking for suggestions from all of you on what materials I should use for the helmet and shoulder armour? What about the clothing? Maybe leather for that?
I don't have the defined muscular arms so I was looking at possibly obtaining a partial muscle suit if the price wasn't astronomical.

Literally any ideas from anyone would be extremely helpful.

Thank you!

That's gonna be awesome! I'm cosplaying as Ram Man for the first time myself here locally at an upcoming convention and am pretty excited ^_^ If it's cool please post pics up once you've done it ^_^ Rock on!
