Advice on blonde wig/styling

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post since my question is about a non-animated character I am trying to dress as for Halloween, but I figured that you all would be able to help me anyway because the idea is the same. I am planning on going to go as Margot Tenenbaum (aka Gwenyth Paltrow) from the Wes Anderson film "The Royal Tenenbaums." Here are a couple references of her: [ 1 ] [ 2 ]

Her hair seems pretty easy, but I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to wigs and how they work. I was considering the Faith "just straight" wig from Amphigory in #24, but I'm not 100% sure if that particular wig will work considering Margot's strong side part (the page says that the wig has a "limited" skin-top, and I'm not entirely sure what that means). I couldn't find a great color match from the Cosplay.com wigs, either.

Any expert advice for me? Thank you in advance!

No it won't. Because that wig don't have a full skin top to part the wig to any other position.

Here are some wig options with a full skin top.

These two are the same wig.

What about this wig for your costume?

if ash blonde is too light, you could slightly dye it with sharpies or fabric dye
