Its been a while since I last posted, but it's halloween again, so time to get creative in the costuming department. I've decided to go as briar rose - just purchased my fabric. I have a couple questions
1) I'm looking to insert a godet in the front of the skirt - just curious if it's generally a triangle shape or more of a really narrow trapezoid (almost like the shape of a gore)?
2) I'm planning to wear it nearly all day so I'm wondering if it might be more comfortable to make the "corset" should close in the back with a zipper (i'll need to get into alone and I don't plan to close it in the front with a busk)
Thank you!

garnetprincess- In my experience and based on what I've seen from the offically licensed patterns, the goddets are triangle shapes. As far as the corset if you are getting into it alone it might be easier to add an invisible zipper to the side seam. My corset zips in the back and I have to have help to get into it. Just a thought.

I have a couple of pics of my Warrior Dressphere Mulan from last weekend to share with you guys.

I'm hoping that Frozen is amazing, because Anna's design is just so beautiful!
I really want to make it!!

Has anyone talked about this? DISNEY FAIRYTALE DESIGNER COLLECTION. Which is to die for.

The DETAILS on all their dresses, oh wow.

Yay! That sounds absolutely amazing *envious* So I hope you two have loads of fun! Just be careful with your costumes in the snow I hope! Yup, Kristoff was based off "Bear Flynn" (original design of Flynn Rider) so he's pretty big, though thankfully Disney brought him down to a more "realistic" big burly man shape. I think my bf (the Flynn Rider in the previous Tangled pics) will make a decent Kristoff, originally was going to make him Hans believe it or not but Chris (my bf) is just TOO similar to Kristoff, even the names are similar. It was too uncanny to pass up! xD Me too! I can't wait to see how it turns out for you! Maybe show each other photos? Anyway, Good luck~!!!

Feysera- I think someone mentioned wanting to make Rapunzel's dress a couple of pages back. I do love these designs and must admit I am tempted to make Ariel's dress though the embroidery would kill me. LOL.

My progress on Cinderella is painfully slow. I've got the clock embroidered and the trim crocheted. The headpiece is almost finished. No cutting or sewing on the actual clothing yet.

BUT, my hair is the perfect "lightest honey brown". No blond Cinderella for me!

@Feysera - I would love to have the Rapunzel I have asked about getting it made for me so you might see it from me sometime

@Aurora's Heart - Do you remember who mentioned it? It would be cool to see another one .

Also you will be seeing a few new cosplay's that I won't be giving away until they arrive for a few various of reason's just like I did with Anastasia.

I will always wear Anastasia and any other cosplay's that I get in the future no matter what happens.

Wow, I had no idea about this Bear Flynn Rider... I'm glad they didn't keep him like that. But yea, your bf definitely looks like a Kristoff. And besides, Kristoff's costume just looks alot more fun (and easier) to make - Hans is too clean cute for my liking. Haha, hurray for husbands and boyfriends who let us do this to them! We should totally share pictures when all is said and done -- if they ever get done (I didn't realize how much embroidery was on everything!) Good luck with yours though too!!

Nessa- At least you got a start on it.

Yuna- I'm not sure who but I seem to recall she had issues with her fabric as she found the perfect floral print but it was out of stock or something.

I started working on Vida. I got the pants cut out and then I got slamed with work. LOL Seems to happen to me alot this time of year.

I love these! Ariel and Snow are amazing, but since I've already done those, I would probably pick up Rapunzel. Just stunning.
