Ayase Chihaya Help!

I have a younger sister who want to go to Ohayocon with me and my other sister as schoolgirl Chihaya from the Chihayafuru Anime. But we are having major issues with finding the right plaid for her school skirt. We have ravaged the internet, but I have found nothing to help her with it. Does anyone have any ideas on where I might find something for her? Even a pre-made cosplay would work for her, because I need to make my OOT Zelda and my other sister's Kiki's Delivery Service as well.

When it comes to plaids in anime, you really have to just bite the bullet and pick something similar. You're usually not going to find something perfect. Any red and black plaid that looks somewhat similar should be fine.

I generally don't recommend buying pre-made cosplays online due to quality issues, but if that is what you want, I found this one just by typing in the series name really fast...

I take no responsibility on the quality or reliability of the ebay seller; you'll have to do the research yourself, but I figured that this was a start for you.

This was found on the first page of Google results just by typing in the series name and the word cosplay, so in the future you should be able to find things like this pretty easily on your own. I hope this helps.

You will never find the perfect plaid for any anime/game costume. You either have to settle for "good enough" when you find something sort-of similar (maybe has the right colors, or most of the right colors, but not the right pattern), or you have to buy solid fabric in the right base color and paint all the plaid stripes on yourself.

If you're more interested in saving time, you'll have to settle for the wrong plaid that's simply "good enough."
FF9 cosplay? Hit me up!

I now have a Tumblr. Sometimes I use it.

Actually guys, my Otosan found a plaid generator that you can use to design plaids with. After you design the plaid, you can order the pattern you made as a fabric.
Thanks though, and yes, I did find this pre made cosplay you mentioned Aqua, my sister just happens to be a very picky 12 year-old, and this wasn't 'good enough for her.' >_<
But anyway guys, thanks
