How close did I get?

This is just a digital makeup test my friend did of me... I'm trying to make my Booker makeup better.... How close does this look?
If anything needs to be changed, just let me know![IMG][/IMG]

Wait, that's just photoshopped on ? I would really try to do it in real makeup first - you might get a vastly different outcome and have to work on physical techniques to get your desired result.

I mean, it looks decent, sure, but your face is a rather unchangeable canvas and you have to see what you can do with THAT - because what's been done digitally might not work at all physically - or need practice or certain techniques or not even work without prosthetics.

I know that you really care about your results, so I don't want you to be disappointed. Unless PhotoShop is the end medium it will help you a lot more to do tests physically.

Yeah, I agree. All that's been done to the picture is shading in some areas, but it wasn't anything drastic like changing features. I'm pretty sure prostethics won't be needed, as I've tried the effects before like in this picture, and it looked just like it (because the guy who made the picture sent a guide as well, including how to shade it and stuff like that).
And yes, I'm super OCD when it comes to making sure my work comes out the way I want.

I would agree with Kelley. This looks good, but it looks photo shopped. Make-up can do some wonderful things and can for sure make you look more like Booker and will probably look more realistic. (:

Awesome
I think what I probably should be asking is, is the shading/highlighting in the right areas? It doesn't look realistic right now, but does it look like everything is right detail wise (as in, is that all I need to do, but just use the real makeup to make it actually look realistic i.e. blend it better and such.)

Ahh in that case yes! You have it all in the right places! Just be sure to use a stipple sponge or something along those lines along the beard. (:
