Don't Hug Me I'm Scared cosplay?

I'm going to cosplay human!notebook from Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, but I'm a little stuck on the hair. My hair is already long and wavy, like how a lot of people imagine her, but I don't know how I'd do the cool pastel colors. Permanent hair dye is not an option, but temporary would work, since my hair is really light. Would that be too much work? Should I just get a wig? If I should dye it, how?

I'd highly recommend getting a wig because even if the dye says it's temporary, it can take quite a while to completely wash out. When I cosplay Notebook I'm going to get a white, curly wig and then buy white wefts that I will then sharpie dye or FW ink dye the pastel colors. Hope that helps!

omgoodness im soo happy im not going to be the only one cosplaying dont hug me im scared. But i have to agree with buying a wig, temporary dye takes at least 5-9 showers to get rid of in my expierence.

My friend convinced me to be Human!Notepad for the next con coming up, and I'm stuck on the wig too. I think, if I were you, I would buy a pastel rainbow wig instead of dying your hair. You can ever be too sure how long the dye would stay in your hair or if your hair would stay in the same style. Plus, the dye might fade before the con (assuming you aren't dying it the night before).

I think that the wig is a better idea than dying hair. Getting the "rainbow" effect on hair will take very long, and also washing out a hair dye will last a few days.

I can't wait to see your cosplay!

You can 'dye' your hair with artist's pastels. I've done it myself with a mint colour and it's turned out really nice (and I have really dark hair). Just remember to use heat to lock it in

What about a pastel rainbow wig such as this, this, or this (the last one is darker)? Remember that cutting the wig is always possible.
PM me for more imput

Oh! This is a little older but hair chalk! Hair chalk goes on super fast, super bright and will be a lot cheaper than a wig. Its easy to get too (Its at walmart even) You just set it with hairspray and it sticks to your hair until you wash it out. I do it all the time. That way you can even pick what colors and how many streaks!
