Advice if I have to pose

Hello, for a con this year I made a simple Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Link costume. I made it for the sole fact that it would be soft and comfy, like pajamas, since last year one of my costumes were intricate and uncomfortable so I decided to take a break. However, if I'm walking around the con, how should I pose if I'm just a singular Link with no props?
Here is a picture of the costume:

As silly as it sounds, try practicing in front of a mirror. Find 3 to 4 poses that look good in your mind and memorize them. When someone asks for a photo strike one of your practised poses as if the camera was the mirror

^ not silly at all.
Some of the professional (upper end) actors i've worked with said they do the same thing.

Athletic stances would be good for Link without props! Legs shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent, hands up to be ready for whatever's coming.

Small props might be your friend-- a bottled fairy, a bug net, a rupee, an ocarina?-- they give you lots of options if you have a little time to get something together!

I've posted up a cheat sheet for posing for cosplay photos on my facebook page, linked in my signature. It's a (very) truncated version of a presentation panel I held at Anime California. Hope it helps!
