Need some help for overseas cosplayers to TGS2014 (1st timer!)

Hi,

My friend and i will be going TGS this September and is wondering which is the more efficient way to get admission tickets.

Getting them at a convenience store, queuing at the location or ordering online?

We are arriving in Makuhari on 19th's evening. Would the convenience stores still carry tickets by then? If purchasing them online, do i get 4 tickets for both of us attending both days? (I buying them via eventregist.com) We will be cosplaying on both days so getting them at the location is kind of.....

This is going to be our first time going so excuse all the noobish questions ><

Hey there. You can buy them online (1 for each public day) but the ticket booths at Makuhari are literally right in front of the line where everyone waits to get in, online ticket or not. So I usually just get mine at the convention and hop in line. Up to you though.

Also, if you didn't know, cosplayers are 'supposed to' change into their costumes at the convention. There's change rooms where you have to pay to get a badge that says you're a cosplayer.

Last year cosplayers had the option to get their ticket, wait in line and then change inside the convention center OR use the change rooms before the line, wait in line in cosplay and then be free to roam around to your heart's content.

Hi Color,

Thanks for your advice! Seems like getting them online is the quickest way to secure us admission

Yes, online is definitely the best way to do this. Also, you can get the supporter's tickets for early entry to both TGS and to the changing rooms if you want them! Regular tickets are 1000 yen and supporter's tickets (which also include a T-shirt and pin badge for each day's ticket) are 3000 yen.

Supporter's tickets for Saturday are sold out, but there are some for Sunday still. If you go with the regular tickets, you still need one ticket per day that you want to go.
