Dollar tree glasses?

So, my convention is on friday, and I just came to the realization that I don't have the glasses for my character! I'm doing pidge from voltron, and she has those large sort of glasses that are circular. Here's some pics.

My mom needs to go to dollar tree tomorrow after i'm picked up from church, so theres my only chance to get some.

My question is, is it possible to maybe bend the top of the frame once I take the lenses out? Will those just by themselves suffice?

It won't go over that well I'm afraid.

Plastic frames are an obvious no go. Thus leaving ones that are a stainless steel composition or aluminum. However they are not that malleable. Even if you manage to warp them it would then offset the rest of the frame.

Your best shot would be party city as they seem to have exactly what you are looking for.

Another possibility would be Claires. At the very least I've seen fake glasses with round frames while shopping there before

So I have a pair of glasses like this. I actually got them by using sunglasses with the frames popped out. I got lucky since the store that was selling them was having a store closing sale so I got them for dirt cheap.

I would tackle party city/halloween stores as they are more likely to have something similar than a dollar store.

Another option this time of year is there should be plenty of Harry Potter costume glasses around. They may not be as oversized like you want but they're at least the right shape.

I know I'm late, but you can totally get glasses for cosplay at the Dollar Tree! The ones that say 1.00 have no prescription in them.

Alright, so thanks for all the idea's! My friend showed me that they had reading glasses that with a little work, would do just fine! I bent the frames after taking the lenses out and they instantly morphed into what I needed.
