Sewing army fatigues?

Hello, I'm currently working on a cosplay right now I however have a cosplay that I want to work on next already in mind. The next cosplay I want to work on next is Mads Mikkelsen's character from Death Stranding. I already know that has wearing some kind of army fatigues which I believe is called "3 colour desert". Now I'm debating if I should just buy the army fatigues in the colour or to buy the fabric and see the fatigues myself. What would you guys recommend? If so where could I buy either the fatigues or the fabric with the 3 desert colour on them and the pattern for the army fatigues. Many thanks in advance, I will also post a reference image of Mads Mikkelsen below. Let me know if the link works

CAVEAT: I live in a military city, so I could literally get this at the first thrift store I stopped at, but I don't know how easy/ hard this stuff is to acquire elsewhere.

I would say buy. First military grade clothing is sewn in such a way that DIY will be obvious unless you take the time to do triple stitched lapped seams. Second, the militaries of various nations have been forced to change their camo more frequently due to surveillance techniques that there is a lot of gear available used that looks good/ looks new.

My Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/penlowe I make non-fitted custom things to ship within the continental US. I only do fitted garments for those whom I can meet in person.

I agree with Penlowe. The effort to benefit ratio strongly favors buying. At best, you get it exactly right and everyone assumes you bought it. eBay is also your friend.
