Oh my god, I love this series.
Started on a Yoko cosplay today, totally dont have the body for it, but my love of large props and kickass gainax women has overpowered my greater sense of asthecisim. Please tell me I wont be the only Lagann cosplayer out there in the universe, let's do this the only way we can- BY UNITING!

I am going to do Ailack for AX. Outfit is almost TOO simple, but I love his character from the TWO lines he's spoken.
I'm just hoping that he & Zoushi become a bit more important soon, since they were all but forgotten after episode 8 ;_;.

I'm actually thinking of doing Kamina sometime later this year. More or less, I'd probably get it done in time for like Ani-Magic is my guess.

My friends and I are considering putting together a group for AX08...we'll see how it goes.
And although I'd probably be our Yoko if we do pull together this group, I WANNA MAKE ADIANE'S COSTUME SO BADLY.

Heheh.
I'm uber glad I have a summer job right now, otherwise I would be crying. Today I spent $130 getting all the supplies to make Adiane's kimono. I'll probably be starting on it as soon as I finally unpack from AX (my sewing kit is buried amongst the AX stuff.) Next week (after my paychecklol) I'll be getting the supplies for her corset and such. Now, I watched the episodes she is in A BAJILLION TIMES and could NOT find a decent backshot! I've done rough sketch outs of what I think the back of her corset looks like (which I plan on doing as I have it drawn) but the circle/string thing she wears has me a bit confused...I've sketched out a couple of ideas of it...I think I'll be going with the top right sketch, but any input would be great! (my sketch out of her costume pieces is attached) But yes, Adiane will be done by August 18th or bust for the Socal gathering :3 Oh, and Luna? I saw your Viral at AX! It made me happy that I ran into you a couple of times (I even saw you and Nia in the boat and snapped a picture! I totally didn't realize there was a Nia with you at the time, as I could barely tell it was you, since my contacts were screwing my eyes up so badly xD )
