how to make a really short wig work

I need to learn that you can't always cut a wig like you would real hair. I cut it way too short and now the netting is showing through. It doesn't help that the wig is white. Is there any way to fix this without wefting the entire thing?

If I do get another wig and start over, any tips for making it look really short (almost a buzz cut) without actually cutting that much off?

Also, any tips on how to get short, dark hair under an even shorter, light wig? I can't seem to manage it without hair sticking out everywhere!

Thanks for any suggestions. I'm just sad I butchered this really beautiful wig...

Sorry not you still need to rewefts the wig to hide your bald spots/ thin layers.

I start with a wig that is already short. What style do you need? Any references?

Ani BEE's right, you're going to have to add wefts, those bald spots aren't going to go away by themselves. That's the bad thing about wigs, once you cut, that's it.

At this point, it would probably be easier just to start over then to weft half of a wig... At least the wig wasn't expensive and I have time to order another one.

Ani BEE- the wig you suggested is the style I was going for on the one side of the wig, unfortunately the other side has to be long.

This is the style I'm trying for: http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lo...bn31o1_500.png He has this long emo-bang type thing, but the other side and back are really short. This is the wig I got: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mens-Beautif... em565722cdcf It is actually pretty nice for how cheap it is, but not thick enough to be that short.

Thanks for your suggestions!

maybe you should get the rocky from arda and anther of the original long wig you had and cut them both in half and sew them together into a frankenwig.

Edit: be sure to get wigs that are both the same type of fiber, preferably from the same seller so that everything matches. Here is a tutorial: http://windofthestars.com/blog/tutor...-wig-tutorial/

Tryst me frankenwig is also easier then rewefting one wig to get the density right.

Another option is what I did for my enough wig.
