Yes the Snow Queen's is probably hand beaded for the show as the lace is the top layer of the dress.

They love their texture layers for her. The fabric on this one is just O___o
Where the fudge did they find that fabric.

No need for the workshop to do it Elsa's fabric was prebeaded And you can buy it by the yard (I have 5.5 yards of a hand beadded silk chiffon (I want it to be for a Galadriel gown but the threads are resisting dye removal! The silk gave the dye up readily but the embroidery and sewing threads.. nope.)

There is a lot of pre-embelisment (fabric and trims) then in the workshop they blend then with on site embellishing, it's a really effective way of blending materials (like Robin Hood's jerkin) and making the wardrobe unit work to create a very distinct style for the Enchanted Forest vs Arendelle vs Storybrook

Hello everyone! Hope there are a few people who still frequent this thread. I just finished my own Season 2 Snow White cosplay (the white War Council outfit), but I'm still unsatisfied with the fabric I used for the (as I like to call it) butt-cape. I was just wondering if anyone had had any luck finding a suitable fabric for it that matches the Diamond Tuft similarly, as I'm fairly sure mine is slightly too khaki-colored. https://scontent-ord1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...83&oe=55FE68DF (also please don't judge my undershirt - it was not puffing up correctly for some reason ;-; )

You look amazing. I think the color is fine on the "butt-cape" (good name)

I am very surprised that my husband just agreed to wear a Captain Hook cosplay. I've been looking for a black trench coat to modify.

Trench coat purchased. I have a red for the vest. I've been hunting for buttons. Why did there have to be 40 of the big ones? These would be perfect:

Going to be making Emma's red Ballgown for Comikaze this year with my friend who will be cosplaying as Snow in her purple dress! I still have yet to buy the fabric but once I do I'll get straight to working on it! For those of you who have use boning before, can you give me tips on how to add them to a bodice the right way?

Here's the wig that I styled sometime ago for Emma xD

Aurora 60th anniversary - Disney
Princess Deku - Drifiting by Stars art
Steampunk Ladybug - Miraculous Ladybug
Super Sailor Chibi Moon - Sailor Moon
Female Kylo Ren

The wig looks great!

As for boning, most patterns will give you directions about adding it in. But if it doesn't, you can use your seam allowances pressed open and stitched down as close to the edge as possible to create boning channels. Or you could use bias tape along the inside of the seam stitched down to make boning channels as well. And for really great structure that will last you, I suggest steel bones. Plastic will just warp over time with movement and heat and you will lose the beautiful shape of your bodice.

I'm playing with the idea of cosplaying Dorothy. I already have cosplayed Judy Garland's version but I love the design they use on OUAT.

I love so many of the costumes from this show it would be so hard to chose which one to make first, lol. At some point I really want to make Snow White's white outfit (white war outfit.) And Emma's red gown.
