B.
Fans are a feather in a whirlwind, but friends are something you can cherish forever. Even maybe work on group cosplays with and have even more fun! Especially if you like the same series! ^_^ It's always good to get different points of view....as well...the glomper could break a prop or costume piece you spent hours on...@_@

Would you rather:
A.) Set up an awesome group cosplay with friends
OR
B.) Rock a Solo Getup

Definitely A. I've rocked solo stuff before, but the sheer amount of in-character jokes that can be made with a group (and the shoot possibilities!) are way better.

Would you rather...

A- Put together something really hot/heavy and wear it all day during a summer con, but get lots of attention because of it, or
B- Wear something that's less flashy, but more comfortable?

A because I've lived in Florida and our summers are similar to our falls and springs and sometimes winter, so basically I'd be uncomfortable almost all year round.

Would you rather...
A) Go one day to a con and hang out with only friends.
B) Go all three days and make tons of new friends.

I choose B because...
♫ Make new friends, and keep the old, one is silver and the others gold ♫

-plus my new friends don't seem to like or need more anymore-

Would you rather
A). Have an extremely accurate costume, but have no one really know who you're cosplaying as?
B). Have a really inaccurate costume, have lots of people recognizing you?

Not because of recognition but because I'm too lazy to aim for extreme accuracy.

Your options:
1.) The character designer of the character your cosplaying loves your costume and would like to autograph it but ONLY in such a way that it may completely tarnish your costume
2.) The Voice Actor/Seiyu for your character loves your costume but wants you to walk with them in their entourage but that would mean missing everything; panels, friend meetups, and cosplay gatherings.

@_@ Ouch. Erm.... For now, A. I haven't gotten confident enough with my skills to try anything super complicated that would take me more than 2 weeks to remake. Relevant, because this is going to happen this fall. Remaking Grimmjow and having David Vincent sign the shirt.

Would you rather...

A.Finish a cosplay hours before wearing it and have it look poorly made.
B.Finish a cosplay a week before that looks perfect, then forget a piece when packing.

I pick B.
It's just one piece left behind. No biggie.

Why was this thread moved? It's been in the General Chat for three years and putting it under prop/accessory/armor construction doesn't make any sense.
ヽ(´ー`)┌

If you were at a con all day (and couldn't change outfits) would you rather:
A.) Have a super awesome cosplay that you could wear in any weather, but you'd have to spend a lot of time and money putting makeup all over your body and keeping track of little pieces (accessories and whatnot), or
B.) Have a super awesome cosplay that didn't require any makeup and hardly any prep time but eventually gets hot and stuffy and could easily get stepped on or caught in something.

Agreed. This thread has nothing to do with the construction of "props/accessories/armor" or "cosplay construction" in general. This thread is primarily hypothetical questions and opinionated answers to those questions. While the discussions are interesting, they are better suited to General Chat and not the construction forum.

Admin, I suggest a move back to the General Chat forum, or an explanation for the move here.

I choose B because im no good at keeping track of little things.

Would you rather, when having only one cosplay with you:
A) Have your cosplay crumpled up on the way to the convention and not have access to any form or iron.
or
B) Spill something on your costume in the middle of the convention and walk around in it for the rest of the day?

B. Cover yourself up and never consider the possibility of looking incredibly awesome in that cosplay and having people want tons of pictures of you despite the fact you're not "skinny enough".
Strictly speaking, I think it depends on how chubby you mean. I mean I'm not stick-thin, but whilst that won't stop me from cosplaying, it would stop me from dressing as someone like Kamina from TTGL or anyone from Gundam Seed who by definition have to be quite gaunt.

On the other hand, whilst I don't mean this in a misogynist way, I am male and straight - and women that are a bit curvy are more my type than those who are really thin - so speaking from a totally selfish perspective, I love to see a slightly chubbier Yoko or Felicia, not just because of their body type but their confidence in doing so speaks volumes about their character. So A.

I would say A, because most cons have on-site accommodation and I'm quite a gregarious person and would doubtless meet someone with an iron just after getting there.

Here's mine. Would you...

A: Have to risk being caught in the rain on an overcast day
or
B: Be potentially boiling on a day during a heatwave

Hm, I'd have to say A. I don't mind rain, and I'm sure that I would be able to find shelter of some sort!

So, would you rather:
A) be the only person cosplaying at a meetup
B) be the only person not cosplaying at a meetup

(for example, wearing grey skin paint and horns while everyone else is in "normal" outfits vs. the reverse situation)

Hm... I'd rather be the only person cosplaying. So, A.

Would you rather make a costume that you know will be
a) far too hot for comfort
b) far too cold for comfort?

B, cold. If you're cold you can get warm - if you're hot, then you're a bit screwed.

Would you rather...

A) Have a good con, meet loads of new people, make new friends - and get hit on a couple of times by creepy guys/girls, or
B) Not have to deal with getting hit on, but not speak to many people and generally find yourself alone
