Cosplay - MS-18E Kampfer

Hey guys, I'm brand new to the cosplay scene and I have a few questions before starting on one of my favorite suits, the Kampfer.

I've looked a bit into creating a suit and found a lot of really helpful tutorials, and I'm planning on basing it off of the gunpla I've recently finished. The figure is considerably different in shape compared to the tutorials I've read and other cosplays I've seen on this site, and I'm not really sure how to tackle the more rounded figure.

Any help would be appreciated, even the most simple tips. Thanks!

First things first, congrats on going after such a beastly mobile suit. Though it will be challenging. As for the rounded pieces, I'm going to be experimenting with the technique in this video, so it might help you as well.

Thanks for the reply. I'll watch that video ASAP and start working on my mobile suit later in the week; I'll be sure to post updates as I go along!

I recently stumbled upon Clivelee's tutorial for mecha/gundam cosplays, and it's been incredibly helpful in planning out what I'll need to make this thing work. I just have one question: in his tutorial, he uses corrugated plastic for the base of the torso. How would I successfully combine pieces to make it sturdy enough to hold the PVC/Craft foam? Epoxy was one suggestion given to me, any more?

My only suggestion is to try the epoxy on some same pieces or scraps. I'm more accustomed to hot glue.
