I realize there may be another thread on this, but I don't feel like looking for it. Now that I've finally lost that tiny bit of fat left on my legs, I'm skinny all over, so I've decided to do Yuna. I was planning to buy just one long brown wig and work with it from there, instead of buying a short brown one witha an extension. Any ideas on how to do the long tail in the back?

I think you can do this with a medium wig and a long piece.
You can get the Jereth from arda. It already comes in lovely colors and is layered. All you have to do is trim it a bit and fluff the bottom. Then get a weft in the same color and cut it so the wefts are shorter width wise, then sew a few in and make the longer part. I think that's a better looking way then cutting an extremely long wig..

1. get lots of burgandy yarn
2. cut out 20 pieces of so...about twice the length you want it
3. take an elastic pony tail holder and place the yan in the middle of it, sliding the band to the middle of the yarn
4. bread yarn
5. once you get to the bottom place a strip of your hair cut or some piece of extention and seal it with a pony tail holder
6. tie the white ribbion around the ponytail holder at the bottom
7. using the ponytail holder at the top of the braid tie the braid onto a piece your hair on the back of the head

lots of instructions but it worked for me. let me know if this works or if you have any questions

I found this great tutorial for making the Yuna Hair Tail. http://kairi-g.livejournal.com/2188.html You can find all of the materials at Wal Mart. I wound up using too much glue at the end of mine. You could knock somebody out with that sucker XD

I purposely went for a more pink/burgandy color because of the dresssphere we were doing. Can't help you for a wig because my friend actually went and got the haircut. The tail was a little hard to braid at first, but after a few false starts I got the hang of it.

Arda also has the Inigo wig, which comes in the shade Spanish Brown 050. You could trim and style that wig to look like hers. As for the hair tail, maybe buy the Long Bang in the same shade.
This Yuna cosplayer used the Eowyn wig (from Arda), and chopped off the excess length.
Either option, you would have wig fiber for the tail-thingy. Good luck!

Thanks. These all look like really good ideas(although I'm scared about the too much glue part0.0) I've still got awhile to go, because I'm just buying the whole thing instead of making it this time around. MY self made Misa looked really good, but I have tests coming up >.< so I dont have time. Ideas are still welcome.
