Character commissioned and series/video game: Bepo's jumpsuit from One Piece
Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: Bepo
Timeline: Started in February
Describe your Experience: Do not commission from her. I posted a commission request in the marketplace. Nessy answered and said she would do everything for $100. I thought it was good and sent her $60. Everytime I messaged her to see how everything was going she would say, "I start in two weeks." She showed no effort to message me. Two weeks before the convention she said she would send it the next week. The same excuse as usual... Nothing came. I waited after the deadline and still nothing! I e-mailed her multiple times trying to be nice and yet no response. She finally responded, but it wasn't her...it was her sister. She said she would send it next week. It's been another three months. No e-mail, no package, nothing. I recommend you not commission from her. Her paypal is inezmaepadilla@hotmail.com.

Website: http://matchwigs.com
Item purchased (please include quantity): Taroko V. Short Blonde Wig Quantity: x1
Links to picture(s) of your received item: http://www.cosplay.com/costume/438850/ (unstyled wig!)
Timeline (how long your order took to process): Ordered 25/8 arrived around 6/9.
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.
Tracon 7 was coming up and I needed a wig fast for my Yamato "Matt" Ishida cosplay, since I was going to debut that cosplay in the con. I browsed through different wig sites on the net and no one of them had a close enough wig for my cosplay. Later my twin (Blood_Sword) showed me matchwigs site and there I found a good wig for my cosplay! Finally! So I ordered it. The site was easy to deal with and they quickly shipped out my order. When I got my wig which arrived in time I was very satisfied with it. It was comfortable to wear, looked like promised and had a nice color and quality. I would definitely buy from them again in the future. Very good!

Final Grade: A+

It would really help with people trying to find my past reviews. Plus I don't see that you added my review from Meta77 under chergnomebyl. Thanks.

Timeline (how long your order took to process): Paid on September 12. Received item September 29th.
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.

Well i wanted this costume because hey: I can be set for Halloween AND Christmas AND set for the convention. 3 in one right? So i finally paid for my commsion in full and paid for expedited shipping. I didnt get any communication during, and i was fine with that. I didnt wanna bother them. The day i actually check i find out it was shipped 2 days from when i checked. It surprised me when i find out. Needless to say It was supposed to get here in October the first monday. Well when i got home it turns out it was delivered while i was at work and had to wait to pick it up.

Well when i first took it out of the box, I was overjoyed. The jacket and coat were made of fur. Even the hat was! I tried on everything (i ordered 2X's from my current size) And everytthing fits, except for the jacket, while it does fit, it barely gives any leeway room. The shoes were nice. The gloves were great. I immeditaely emailed them and told them that i lvoe it! I currently have another Commission request. I hope its as good as this one!

Final Grade: A++++ Definitely order from them!!

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.

Pros: Everything! Very quick to reply to emails, super super nice, great prices for everything! She also does a lot of progress on her facebook page, which is super fun to see. The items arrived packaged very well and in perfect condition. The props were *very* well made and professional looking. I love them to death! She asked me more than once to confirm my due date so she could make sure she was on track and I received my items right on time. Would *highly* recommend her, she is very talented.

Cons: Nothing!

Name of Commissioner: Millions_Knives
Website/C.com gallery: http://www.cosplay.com/member/71159
Character commissioned and series/video game: Riven's Sword from League of Legends
Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: Coming soon.
Timeline: About a week
Describe your Experience: I placed an ad back in June with a deadline of October. Millions_Knives was one of the commissioners to contact me. I'd seen him around the Marketplace and I'd seen pictures of his work, so I decided to give him a go. He had an opening the first week of September, so I paid the down payment and waited. Sure enough, when it was my time, he sent me a message letting me know to send the first half. He kept me updated, sent me progress pics and was an absolute joy to work with! When he finished, I paid the second half (which included shipping) and he sent my sword out.
The sword is pretty freaking awesome It's very lightweight and he built it so the handle can be removed for easy storage and transport. I can't wait to bring it to my convention!
Final Grade: A++ Will definitely commission again

Character commissioned and series/video game (please include if this was the entire costume, just a jacket, prop, accessory, wig, etc.): Ritsuka Aoyagi's Jacket from Loveless.
Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: http://i47.tinypic.com/2640qb9.jpg
Timeline (how long your order took to process): September 18-October 9th. My deadline was the first week in November.

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments:

Pros: Fast, good quality, responsive and overall just amazing to work with!

Cons: What cons?! Absolutely none.

Where to start? I wanted Ritsuka's jacket commissioned for an upcoming con. Many people responded and naturally I did my homework. I trusted Highsky off one review on the board and hoped for the best. I'm so glad I trusted her with the jacket. My budget was 75 dollars. I sent her the payment on the 18th of September including my measurements and I just received it today.

I trusted her with the fabric choice for it and her judgments on how it should look at the end. She constantly updated me on the progress of it and I received two photos of the jacket within the time frame. Also, if something had come up and she couldn't work on it, she let me know. I was so surprised to hear that she had completed my jacket well before my deadline! It fits like a glove and I couldn't be happier with the way it came out. I am recommending Highsky to anyone who want a fast, good quality and amazing commission. I will definitely contact her for future commissions!

Item purchased: 3 full costumes- Kirisame Marisa (Koumajou Densetsu), Remilia Scarlet (Touhou Project), maid outfit
Links to picture(s): http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y28...te%20costumes/
PASSWORD: paypal
Timeline: 8-22-12 to 10-2-12
Cons: Language Barrier, SLOW shipping, unwilling to make a reasonable compromise
Comments: Costumes were not as shown in the pictures listed on their site. (Links are in the descriptions of the photobucket pictures.) Two costumes were missing the supposed headgear. The style and fit were horrible. I did a dispute through Paypal and the seller wasn't even willing to give me half of what I paid. They also refused to refund the true shipping cost to me, though they list it as "Free shipping!" on their website. Paypal wasn't able to get me my money back since it was a "made to order" item. Even if the seller lied and didn't include all the parts. Paypal has advised me to issue a chargeback, though, I used my debit card, so it'll be a huge hassle through my bank. But $220 is worth getting back!

Character commissioned: Angel Stocking full costume

Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: http://s294.photobucket.com/albums/m...ientx/Cosplay/ (password is commission)

Timeline (how long your order took to process): I sent the initial payment at the very end of August and received it 10/12. My deadline was the end of October so I got it earlier than expected.^^

Pros: Communication was a breeze. If I sent a message I could expect one in a day or less. The price of the commission was very reasonable and the dress itself is gorgeous. When they said it was going to be made of thick satin, they meant it. It's extremely high quality, fully lined, and there is even some plastic boning around the bust/waist. I was a little nit picky in the beginning with a few details I wanted in the dress (like making the hearts removable), and they made sure the final product had those little changes. They also sent photos of the finished dress right before they shipped it to me. Shipping took only two days.

Cons: None

Comments: I would definitely commission them again! The photos just don't do the dress justice.

Final Grade: A+

Naomi Cosplay
ROSARIO+VAMPIRE SEASON II, Aono Tsukune, Fairytale Jacket
23 days from start to finish (including shiping)

Pros: Well for starters, the customer service was outstanding. They were amazing nice and always tried to make sure they and I were on the same page, for preferences and outcomes. It was good quality cosplay for a decent price. And the offering of payment plans was a great plus. The end product ended up looking great and fit just how I wanted it to.

Cons: Unfortunately, ever once and a while communication would stop and you might start wondering whatís going on with your order, making you have to send them an email or two to get some updates.

Comments: Naomi clearly shows you here experience in her work, and I canít imagine anyone ever being disappointed with it. I will defiantly be going back to them again

Timeline: Rounded...about a month but not including shipping.
Describe your Experience. She was really responsive. Always answered my questions and comments and what not. I was having money problems and couldn't pay my other half I owed her so she let me hold on until I got it. She didn't rush me or any of the sort so I really appreciated that from her. She didn't show me any progress pictures but I didn't really care. I trusted her. So yeah, she sent me a picture of the top and it was really nice and I was pleased pretty much. I don't have anything bad to say about her. She was my first commissioner that didn't bail on me and take my money. Overall, she's great and the top is great and I'll mostly go to her again if I need anything else.
Final Grade: A+

Karma Dress from League of Legends

Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item

Timeline (how long your order took to process)

Less than 3 months.

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.
When I first contacted her she was very kind and nice. She wanted pictures of the cosplay and said right away she could do it. Judging by her other work I believed in her. I needed the cosplay for a con since I was working on the other stuff. She even said she would take a half payment to get the supplies. She constantly updated me and asked questions like a professional should.

The dress was spot on with the design and everything hand painted showing her hard work. She even made the sleeves detach for the hot wheather in July. A small downside was me losing weight so quickly from being ill that the dress was a bit big lol. Overall I want to work with her well I will again. She's great and look her up. She maybe in Poland but her delivery of my dress was perfect.

Website/C.com gallery: https://www.facebook.com/#!/VioletCosplay?fref=ts
Character commissioned and series/video game: Hextech Janna from League of Legends (ordered corset, belt, goggles, gloves, pants and shirt)
Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: http://i49.tinypic.com/o0ba1l.jpg (itís dark, but Iíll get some convention pictures online)
Timeline: first contacted her on August 15th, costume received on October 15th, convention is october 20/21st. On time, as I asked.
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments:
First contact went really fast, within 24hours I always had a reply on my mail. She was very clear on price and materials/how she was planning the costume.
Every time I had a question I received fairly fast answer through mail and later on we contacted on facebook. We both use a smartphone so the contact went just great.
On every detail she asked me how I wanted it, suggested stuff and gave me lots of options to choose from.

The costume was made the way I make my cosplays, either I buy fabric, draw patterns and make the clothes from scrap, or I adjust existing clothes I have/buy.
She kept contact with me through the entire process, sending me WIP pictures and asking if adjustment was needed.

The fabric used for the pants was a bit see-through, which she told me over mail. I didnít mind, seeing Iíd get the costume in time Iíd be able to edit where/if needed before the convention.
The corset is painted, it looks exactly how I wanted it to look, the details on the side and the belt are spot on.
She told me about some paint stains on the costume before sending it over, but now that I got it you can hardly notice them. I guess if Iíd made it myself I would have stained a lot more

Quality-price based Iím very very very happy! After my post here on cosplay.com I got in touch with several commissioners. Prices went from 500 to 50 euro, I decided to go with Violet after seeing her pictures. She had made something steampunk-like already and had experience with corsets. Her price was fair, not the lowest of all options I had, but definitely not overpriced aswel.
I knew from the start that ďprofessional costume makersĒ would do the job completely flawless, but then again, my budget didnít allow (and I didnít want to) spending 400-500 euro on a costume. I am a perfectionist when it comes to making my own cosplays, I often stay up all night to sew borders or buttons to my pieces, remaking props/pieces over and over again just to get stuff right. (that's also cause I hate deadlines ) The result I got I couldnít have done better myself, so no complaints at all!

The shipping got here right in time. She sent it over from Poland on Thursday, arriving in Belgium on Monday, 5 days before the convention I planned on attending.

It was the first time I ordered a costume over the internet, seeing normally I make my own costumes but this year University took a lot of my time. Iím very happy I got in contact with ElectroViolet and Iíd tell everyone whoís looking for a costume, but not willing to spend 500 euro on it, to go for her.
