Batman Cosplay, anyone?

I'm currently working on a Two-Face costume, mainly for Halloween(but I am looking forward to showing it off at a few cons, aswell). I'm making the entire suit from scratch. I have everything pretty much done, and I only lack finishing up the slacks and jacket. I've also got a pretty nice makeup in the works aswell. I'll put up pictures asap when its done. Should be next week sometime.

I was wondering if anyone has any note-worthy Batman-related costumes that they'd be willing to discuss and/or show off. I'd love to see what everyone's been able to produce!

Yeah, I've done some Batman stuff too. Both Batman Begins and the comic book version. Check out my costumes and get in touch if you like, dude.

Good luck with ol' Harvey Dent!

Wow, Satine, awesome work on the Catwoman costume. It looks fantastic. Same to you, callmemilo, on the Batman outfits. I can't wait to see that Joker either, Mattman.

Thats for the goodluck wishes on Two-Face. Its coming along great! I'm kind of using an original design. I wanted something traditional, but not too boring. So I kind of combined the original comic design(black/white) with the design Rick Baker did for Batman Forever. I loved how one side looked completely flamboyant and rebellious, while the other was "Average Joe"-ish. So I kind of captured that, without it being as loud and crazy as it was in the movie. However, my suit is still "half black, half white". I dunno, haha, its hard to explain. I just finished up the jacket last night and am putting the final touches on the pants right now. I'll have pictures up soon.

I love hearing about more Batman cosplays. Good luck with Two-Face! Can't wait to see it when it's done.

I haven't done any but I really want to cosplay Huntress from Birds of Prey sometime. I just wish I knew where to find those awesome bracelets of hers, lol.

I just finished a Batgirl costume for Halloween this year and got a chance to wear it to a party on Saturday night! I was pretty pleased with how it came out.

I finished up the suit Tuesday, and unveiled it Wednesday at a local Halloween convention. It won best in show, and most original costume. I am extremely happy with the way it came out. Photographs tomarrow!

I just decided to make a poison ivy for this upcoming comic con, but I have a question-hopefully I'm posting in the right thread for this! ^^

I used to watch the batman-superman adventures every day after school (so sad they're not on anymore!) and I loooove batman beyond, haha! (although that's mostly all new villains...) but I want to make a poison ivy costume that's not her leotard, but more of a clingy floorlength gown. I haven't seen batman in years-I need to buy it!!! and I feel like I've seen ivy in a gown like that-that's always how I think of her for some reason...it might have been when she was her other persona, pamela isley. so, i thought i would just make the dress (green, of course) with a high slit in front so you can see some leg and boots, and make the top as similar to her leotard as possible. I thought I could wear her gloves and boots, light green tights, and maybe add leaves and vines maybe to one of my legs and arms or something, to really get the point across that i'm her. I wanted to curl my hair in a 40's wave-that's what her hair looks like to me (i already have flaming red hair)....any thoughts? should i paint my skin light green? i'm naturally pretty pale...
