Thank you Tifa for organizing Cosplay Chess, I hope it becomes a fan tradition at Comic-Con.
I had fun too... which is pretty obvious since I overkilled 99.9% of the time. (But c'mon, snapping doesn't look ...snappy at all. Particularly if no flames are coming out in the first place.)
I thought of two ideas for next year's Cosplay Chess game, it might help in the organizational aspect of it:
1) The use of those non-electric bullhorns-- I know there's an actual word for the object it's just a plastic funnel that amplifies the voice one or two decibels. That would help with getting the moves like "Knight to E4" communicated.
2) Clear tape we can put on the sleeves or arms of participating cosplayers and writing down their positions in metallic sharpie on the tape so Pawns remember they're Pawns, Knights that they're Knights so on and so forth.
And the rest of y'all, I want to say you guys made my first cosplaying experience fun.
