Tips for a TP Bulblin?

So I'm hoping to be a Bulblin from Twilight Princess for Anime Boston '13 (in May) and was wondering what the best method would be for making it. (My mother will be doing the work since she knows more about sewing and stuff than I do.)

I assume you mean this version of them :P
I recommend using earthy kind of fabrics or fraying/weathering them for a rugged look. Other than that, it's a fairly simple cosplay, a couple of belts, one with fangs hanging off it, the other with skull on the buckle (maybe use sculpey for them?) The horns can be attached to the hat, but ive never made horns before so i dont know the best way to make them. The shirt, vest, shirt, skirt (?) and bandanna can be easily made Gloves you can make by drawing around your hand (the thumb seperatly and all the fingers together, like a snow glove) cutting them out and sewing them together. Once its all made, it's just a matter of threading wool or something for the stitching on the outside, and finding a green paint that won't flake off and will stay on all day

I hope this helped
Good Luck!
