I see a lot of people post things about the San Diego comic con, and other huge ones like that, but nevr really anything about ones in the Mid-West, like C2E2!

I would love to know some people who are on here that are going and what people are going as.

Lets show some support for Chicago's #1 pop culture event!!

I'm hoping to go again this year!! If I go I'm doing xena on friday and Princess aurora on saturday! I'm excited!!

I think the reason you don't see much about C2E2 is because it's fairly new - this is only it's third year. I think Wizard World Chicago has been running longer...it's a little more known.

But yeah, I'm going! This is my first time at this con. I have two cosplays in the works, both Assassin's Creed related. I'm going all three days so I'm not sure if I should try to make a third cosplay or just wear one twice.

I've been going since the first year, with each year it has been growing and I honestly would love to see it take over the entire McCormick place thus making it much bigger than SDCC.

I have my list of cosplays I'll be doing in my sig.

The whole McCormick Place? That would be crazy, yet totally wicked! This is my second time going. I didn't know that is was only around for 3 years now, the more you know!

I'm taking on Deadpool once more, since we didn't have that long to really try and put a costume together last year.

I was going to try and pull a Hawkeye and Deadpool since I am going all three days, but I really couldn't get into it, so only Deadpool this year!

Just booked my room/flight last night. And with the badge taken care of thanks to panel work ::shameless plug get::, I think I'm pretty much covered with the important stuff.

Cosplay wise, since $$ is an issue for the time being, I had to push my planned Red Hood costume back a few months. So I'm bringing Cyclops (with a ton of accessories I have to remake), Superboy and....probably another version of Cyclops.

This year, from my understanding, they'll be using up the same amount of space as the chicago auto show which is the entire mid section.

What's surprising is they haven't even put up the masq. application. I hope they do...

I'll be attending on Saturday in my Nightcrawler cosplay. This will be my second year going. Of all the cons I've been to, C2E2 wins hands down.

From what I've heard, don't expect a masquerade. Things will be made clear as to why once the news I know goes public, hopefully this month.

That's shame, really... I was planning on debuting this one cosplay just for Masquerade. I won't have the time to compete in ACen's masq...

I convinced an old middle school friend to come with me! (Prior to her saying yes I was going by myself D: ) It actually didn't take much convincing, I was just like, "wanna come to this con?" Haha. Sadly, she isn't going in cosplay but she'll be there to take some awesome pictures.

I'll be at C2E2 as well, as Astrid (from How to Train Your Dragon). I hope there are some good panels again this year!

I'm quite looking forward to this con as well! I'll be doing Ms. Marvel, a female!version of Iron Man (*not* Pepper Pott's Rescue), and probably Gem from Tron. If something falls through, my backup is Phoenix/Jean Gray.

I've never been to this con before, and I'm going by myself, so I'm hoping it turns out well!

If you're looking for a con buddy or something, I'd be game. My wife (who's cosplaying Black Widow at some point during the weekend) will be selling for most of convention, so I'm gonna need someone to monologue to until nighttime, lol. Plus it's my 1st time too, so we can get lost together!
