Hey guys, I was just wondering what patterns you use for your Miku cosplays, because I'm stuck on the top. I'm quite confused, and I'd like a pattern to help me! Any help would be appreciated.

@saeko_uzumaki:
The third one didn't show up haha. I thought Luka's hair was wavyish? For color the first one is good, but I might go just a tiny bit darker.
@ Ichigo Knight:
For my Miku shirt, which I haven't started yet, I was planning on just getting a basic sleeveless blouse pattern and taking it in more to be a bit more form-fitted and then making it longer at the bottom. I was looking at McCalls' 2094 or New Look's 6952.

I don't think there's much that qualifies as a "Vocaloid dance"... only dances made popular on NicoNico that people then have vocaloids do (usually with mikumiku dance). Most of them have originated elsewhere.
Project Diva has a few originals... but most of them loop the same sets of actions over and over.
I'm sure any dance at all would do if you want to dance

I'm so excited to debut my Miku Hatsune cosplay! <333
For one thing, I ordered my Miku Hatsune cosplay through Bodyline(because it was free shipping for me)
I'm actually learning how to make Miku's headset. I bought a headset with mic at Best Buy for $15, and found a neat tutorial on how to make Miku's headphones (if anybody is interested) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2IQcsmee7o - Hopefully mine will look good as times goes by.
Aside from what I'm doing, I'm wondering where to find a nice pair of Miku's shoes from. Payless perhaps? Can somebody please help me here?
Well, expect me to come here once in awhile.

thats like how I made my head set too :3 yay foam sheets! but I hotglued everything . OMG the girl nin a vid conneted to that one haveing a rant sesion >_<; (yeah I don't like all plastic vocaloids either ._.; )
I actuly got my shoes at walmart for $10 even though the look of them is a woven fabric no one was that close to see anyway! providing you mean the maryjane type or if you are doing boots
~~~~
I'm almost done with my second project diva outfit (simplified) My 'cyberlox' came in the other day and they are already done. so I might get to take pictures tonight or tomorow :3
I still have to finished zatsunes dress... but I think I may omit the hair extentions to lesson the things I have to put on or take off for the formal >_<
so now I have a burn mark on my face 9 days before the con T__T home relaxers are cheaper than going to get it done but ... if you get it on your skin it WILL burn you *red line on face* ._.
What would be the best way to attach Miku's square ribbon things to the wig? I was going to make them out of foam possibly, but wasn't sure the best way to have them attach to the wig.
First post in this thread, yay! For the past month, I've been working on a pair of magnet headphones for my Kamui Gakupo cosplay. All I have left to do it find or make a mic, and attach it to the right earphone.
Just wanting to show them off, since I'm so happy they came out great. ^^
@Rexluna: Perhaps glue a barrette to the inside of your ribbons.
I'd use wire rimmed ribbon or cloth as a base them sew them into the wig. It's probably the most stable solution.
