Love Letters of Great Men.
My mom gave me a copy for Christmas, because her co-worker said it was a very good read. I put it down halfway through because I got tired of all the "I need"s and "I want"s in every entry. I'll probably skip ahead to Oscar Wilde's letter (the only one that will save the book, probably) and then let mom have a go at reading it.

Back to my nostalgic childhood, and re-reading (or, re-read, it only took me about two hours) my falling-apart copy of Black Beauty. I forgot how much I loved that novel. (The horse love never went away, of course. I miss riding like mad.

I'm reading two things:
A short story collection edited by Neil Gaiman called "Stories" and I'm currently re-reading one of the Keeper's Chronicles books by Tanya Huff. Hilariously titled "The Long Hot Summoning" Sounds a lot racier than it is..lol

-_- I've been following the Black Jewels world since 1999, so this is bittersweet. I did scream in surprise despite having read numerous spoilers on the last story. Wow, no amount of spoilers could lessen the impact of it. I was actually hoping for a miracle, in the form of Karla. *shudders* Daemon has horrifically bad taste. I wanted to punch something so bad but I ended up running around the block several times instead. |

Just started Turn Coat by Jim Butcher. Made it my goal sometime last year to finish the Dresden Files series before the next one comes out. Two more to go! ...well, not counting the short stories.

I'm just about to start reading The Wind Singer by William Nicholson. It's the first in a trilogy that a friend got me for my birthday. I think she said it kind of reminded her of the Hunger Games, so I'm excited to open it up right now.
